Emergency preparedness analysis
Medic Sør helps companies and contractors map their need for medical preparedness on building sites, construction projects and in industry. Through site visits, risk assessment and practical experience from emergency medicine, we draw up a preparedness plan adapted to the workplace and the activities there.
Why
Why is a preparedness analysis important?
Every workplace has its own risks. A building site with several hundred workers faces different challenges from a smaller industrial project.
Good preparedness starts with mapping what can happen, what resources are available, and how an incident should be handled.
With our background from the ambulance service and emergency medicine, we know how important clear routines, the right equipment and good cooperation with the emergency services are.
What we deliver
Site visit
We go through the work area, relevant risks, available first aid equipment, access for the emergency services and existing emergency routines.
Risk assessment
We map relevant illnesses and injuries, assess likelihood and consequences, and identify the need for medical preparedness measures.
First aid preparedness plan
We draw up a concrete, clear plan describing alerting, first aid measures, responsibilities, equipment and cooperation with the emergency services. The plan can form part of your HSE system.
Recommendation on medical staffing
We give a professional assessment of the need for healthcare staff at the workplace, including staffing, skills, equipment and when they should be present.
A service on its own
The preparedness analysis can be ordered as a separate service, regardless of whether Medic Sør will provide the medical preparedness afterwards.
