Preparedness

Construction and industry

An onsite medic on your site: emergency medical skills in place every day the project runs. We inspect the site, propose the cover and stay for as long as it lasts.

Why

Medical preparedness on construction sites and in industry

On large building and construction projects, rapid access to medical help is important if illness or injury occurs.

Medic Sør provides healthcare staff present at the workplace, with the equipment and skills needed to assess, treat and follow up employees when needed.

We adapt the preparedness to the size of the project, the activity and the risks. In serious incidents our staff can start the necessary treatment immediately and work with the emergency medical communication centre and the other emergency services.

The aim is a safer workplace, and that employees get the right help as early as possible.

Through site visits, risk assessment and practical experience from emergency medicine, we draw up a preparedness plan adapted to the workplace and the activities there.
