Festivals and concerts

Music festivals, concerts, graduation gatherings and city festivals. Thousands of people, alcohol, camping and long days. This is where we have the most experience.

Why

Medical preparedness at festivals and concerts

Festivals and concerts bring many different situations. Everything from minor injuries, dehydration and people feeling unwell to serious incidents that need rapid medical help.

Medic Sør has long experience of medical preparedness at events of every size. We plan staffing, equipment and treatment facilities based on the size of the event, the audience and the risk.

The aim is for the audience, artists, staff and organiser alike to be confident that the healthcare they need is available when they need it.

Questions we often get

How early should we get in touch?

As soon as the date is set. The medical plan often has to accompany the application to the police.

Can you cover the camping area too?

Yes. The camp often has more incidents than the festival area, especially at night.

Do we need a doctor?

Not always. We recommend one when the audience is young and alcohol is served.
